The analysts have the responsibility to provide technical support in the laboratories They are expected to understand and have hands-on expertise on development and validation of biological assays, and human blood samples handling. For that purpose, a cell culture experience and a capacity to work steriley without high doses of antibiotics is a definitive asset. More specifically they are expected: - To perform peripheral blood mononuclear cell isolation, and culture primary immune cells for the purpose of conducting cellular assays using flow cytometry , ELISA, ELISPOT, Luminex, MSD, technologies; - To participate in development and validation of new assays; - To respond to sponsors specific requests of method transfers; - To maintain a proper documentation trail of all research activities in compliance with the relevant applicable standards; - To prepare technical sheets, tabulate and prepare graphs to be used in study reports; - To work well in a team and also independently; - To use and maintain attributed laboratory working tools., micropipets for example; - To understand and apply IMMUNI T policies and good practices. Sought after qualifications/assets: - Formal training in immunology, cell biology, cell therapy, or a related discipline; - Quebec OPTMQ membership; - Experience in a biotech/pharma or CRO companies; - Hands on experience in cell culture, ELISA, LUMINEX... - Excellent time management,and organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently under pressure; - To work effectively in a fast paced, and highly regulated environment, independently as well as in a team; - To manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail; - Strong troubleshooting skills; - Knowledge and understanding of GLP and GCLP regulations and other regulatory guidelines is an asset; - To perform in Bio Safety Level 2 (BSL-2) environment with proper conformity; - Adequate written and oral communications skills in French and English.
