Analyste

The scientific analyst at Immuni T, has responsibility to serve as a technical resource and bench analyst in the lab. She/He is expected to understand and have hands-on expertise in standardization, validation and samples analysis for pre-clinical and clinical studies. Other responsibilities are, but not limited to: - To be able to perform PBMC isolation, cell culture of primary immune cells, or cell lines, for the purpose of conducting cellular phenotyping and functional assays; - To be able to perform variety of assays using ELISA, ELISPOT, Luminex, MSD, Flow cytometry platforms; - To participate in development and validation of new assays using various platforms; - To be able to use technology transferred assays (method transfers) sent by client’s site and support cross-site standardization of analytical methods; - To be able to maintain proper documentation of all research activities in compliance with the relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and applicable regulations; - To be able to document procedures execution, deviations, troubleshooting activities; - To be able to prepare technical sheets, tabulate and prepare graphs; - To be able to work in a team and communicate effectively with other team members and managers; - To be able to use and maintain micro pipettes and laboratory equipment. Qualifications: - DEC or B.Sc. in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline; - A minimum of 1 year experience in a biotech/pharma or CRO companies is an asset; - Hands-on experience in any of the above mentioned techniques; - Excellent time management and good organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a high paced, fast changing environment on multiple projects; - Manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail; - Strong troubleshooting skills; - Able to work independently as well as in a team; - Knowledge and understanding of GLP and GCLP regulations and other regulatory guidelines is an asset; - Must be willing to perform duties in Bio Safety Level 2 (BSL-2) facilities; - Excellent written and oral communications skills (French and English)

Medical Analyst

The medical analyst is responsible for processing biological specimens for diagnostic purposes in the hematology laboratory. He ensures the integrity of the samples by following established standards and procedures: • Perform analysis of biological samples; • Verify the integrity of specimens to ensure proper management; • Ensure the quality of results by applying the various standard procedures in force; • Any other related task required by the duties of the position. Work location and schedule • Immuni T is located in the friendly Quartier des spectacles with direct access to the Place des arts metro station, the Desjardins complex and the shops on Sainte-Catherine Street. • Head office: Immuni T 5th floor, office SB-5180 141 President-Kennedy Avenue Montreal QC, H2X 1Y4 514 545 3097 UQAM campus and Quartier des spectacles. (Métro place des Arts) • Work schedule Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The profile sought • College diploma in biomedical analysis technology or medical laboratory technology; • Be a member of OPTMQ • Relevant experience in immunology and hematology, a major asset; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software; • Have a high level of autonomy; • Be customer service oriented. • Quality control • Ensures preventive maintenance of equipment and disinfection of work surfaces according to established procedures. • Applies equipment quality control procedures and notifies the laboratory coordinator in the event of anomalies. • Stores samples and requests according to established procedures. • Disposes of samples, requests and biomedical waste according to procedures. • Transmits analysis results according to procedures, respecting confidentiality standards.
