Luc Villeneuve, Ph.D.

Luc Villeneuve has academic and industrial research experience where he managed and collaborated with teams of researchers and administrators through project planning, funding, research and development. Experienced as a manager and an executive, he builds on vision and creative ideas through R&D and delivery of results. Dr.  Villeneuve is a creative thinker skilled in strategic planning and management, with strong problem solving competencies, from discovery to pre-clinical, pre-IND  and IND's. Dynamic, multitasking, tenacious and adept at completing projects on time and within budget, Dr. Villeneuve has built a portfolio of patents for drugs, drug applications, medical devices and cell therapy products which contribute to IMMUNI T success.

Idriss Saiah joined IMMUNI T as Senior Research Scientist in December 2016. Prior to Immuni T Dr. Saiah was a Researcher at Hospital Ste-Justine and Immunology department of University of Montreal. Dr. Saiah earned his Ph.D. in Jean-François Bach’s laboratory, whose work on the immune system were at the forefront for the development of new strategies in immune therapies. Dr. Saiah’s research interests included basic and clinical aspects of immuno-oncology, autoimmunity and inflammation. He has also experience in analysis of clinical data in correlation with genetic profiles (HLA genes) and in experimental autoimmunity including human autoantibodies and the production and analysis of transgenic mouse models for understanding the pathogenic mechanisms of autoimmunity.

Farideh Nourian, Ph.D.
Vice-President Business Development

Farideh Nourian joined Immuni T as Director of Business Development with her 25 years of experience in academia, Contract Research Organizations (CRO) and pharmaceutical/biotech industries. During her career, she has held various Research Scientist and Principal Scientist roles at biotech and CRO companies such as Kiadis Pharma, Charles River Laboratories (CRL) and Algorithme Pharma. Most recently, Dr. Nourian served as Vice-president of Cyto Precision and has been involved in a string of successful consulting for Pliant Pharmaceuticals. She has also been instrumental in setting up and initiation of ParsA Foundation and the Symposium of Iranian Professionals in Quebec.

Dr. Nourian holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Biology and Medical Microbiology, respectively and obtained her Ph.D degree in Biotechnology/Food Science from McGill U. She also has two post-doctoral training in the fields of cell and molecular biology at McGill University and Microbiology at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

Martin Champagne, MD FRCP, Hematology Lab Director

Specialist in hematology and medical oncology, Dr Martin Champagne is interested in the transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells, particularly the clinical use of cord blood in unrelated bone marrow transplantation. Dr Champagne is a member of the board of director of Hema-Quebec as a specialist of transfusion medicine, Dr Champagne acts as the hematology laboratory director at IMMUNI T.
